Today was a pretty crappy day weather wise, it was overcast and raining most of the day, thankfully we spent most of it inside. We tried to go the changing of the guard, but there wasn't one due to a concert for the Olympic Torch. So we went to the National Art Museum which was absolutely amazing. Then we did some shopping and the VA Museum (which closes very early apparently) As we were leaving we noticed a lot of people standing along side the road, so being the mindless lemmings we are, we joined. After about 15 minutes or so, along came the Olympic Torch. It was nothing like when I saw the Torch back in 88, they had concerts as I mentioned, as well as people lining the street probably all the way through London.
After that and some dinner we were off to the Royal Albery Hall to see one of the inaugrual shows for the newly restored Organ. It was pretty amazing as well, the Hall is beautiful, seeing the symphony from a private box has its advantages as well :)
And with that, I'm done with London, tomorrow morning bright and early me and Adam leave for Venice. I probably won't get to post as much while in Italy as I have been while staying with Adam.
