Another day in jolly ole'England
Friday, June 25, 2004
Today was such a long day I hardly remember what I did first thing this morning. We saw the House of Lords today, which brought on a new hatred for children (long story involving a long wait in a long line). Then over to 'The Abbey' as the kids call it, this is where I saw the Queen, yes the Queen! Then we walked around to Buckingham, stopped and had a pint, got talking to a couple crazy british guys, the one asking us if we had heard of a placed called 'Kitchener' in Canada. So that led to a long conversation that involved some crazy conversation about how Casa Nova would have been the greatest guy on the planet if Pot had of been invented back in his day, very strange and neither me or Adam knew what the guy was saying in his Scottish accent. I need cheryl there as a translator. Then some more walking, some more pubs.
OH, and we went to the War Cabinet Museum which was extremely cool. Pictures forth coming....
